Skip integration with Square

About the integration

The Skip integration with Square allows you to connect your Square restaurants to your Skip account. Enable your stores in Skip and leverage our network of professional couriers while managing your menus, inventory, and store hours through Square.

Getting started

• •An active Skip partner account is required to complete the onboarding of your restaurants. New to Skip? Register here.
• •This integration is only supported for merchants using Square for Restaurants and requires at least one active menu.
• •After onboarding has been completed, make sure you notify your integration partner that you are now directly integrated to Skip through Square. Leaving your previous integration active may lead to duplicated orders and menus.

Enabling the integration

1. 1.If you do not already have an account with Skip, you must first complete the registration process. Register here.
2. 2.Click Allow access.
3. 3.When prompted, sign in to Square and approve the application.
4. 4.If successful, you will be guided through a short set of questions about your restaurants.
5. 5.Give us a contact email, choose the locations and menus you wish to integrate, set any price markup you want applied, and tell us whether you intend to sell alcohol.
6. 6.Provided you have completed the setup of your Skip partner account, we will link your Square locations. Typically within 2 business days.
7. 7.Once that is done, you should receive an email confirming that your restaurants have been onboarded, and they will start receiving Skip orders through Square.
